2013 Noel Notions shop update.....round #2

Shop update will be today about 9:30 am Central Time.  :)

I'll be updating the shop soon with round #2 of my Noel Notions.  All of the "kit" type items will be one of a kind so there will not be more like them if they sell out.

In the shop still, I have Fluffy Snow, Neutral Sequins, Holiday Sequin Mix, Gold Clothespins, Gold Foil Doilies, Gold Shimmer Envelopes, Holiday Clips and Red & White Baker's Twine. These are down to limited quantities.  There's also lots of basic shop items like glassine envelopes (perfect for sequins), clear bags, all sorts of tags and labels....plus I have lots of cards and older kits for sale.

Here's the line up of what's new and coming soon......and I still have more kits to come in November that will help your packaging this year be so unique.  :)

Jolly Jingle Bells
Always a favorite item in the shop, perfect for tying on cards and packages. Grab these while you can, I'm not sure if I'll be re-stocking :)

Vintage Paper Kit
Perfect for Project Life, December Daily albums, cards, gift packaging and tags....or how about that perfect letter to Santa.
 Gold Shimmer Baker's Twine
Sooo pretty when paired with all the gold foil items out this holiday season.
 Woodland Sequin Mix #2
This was so popular the first time around and sold out very quickly.  This mixture features woodgrain, flat sequins, gold sequins and stars, beige sequins, fluffy snow and wood veneer pieces.  Many customers purchased my Clear Zipper Bags, Rectangle Glassine Envelopes and Rounded Flap Glassine Envelopes to use with the sequin mix.
 Blizzard Sequin Mix
This sequins mix is soft and fluffy and has just the hint of blue-ish snowflakes.  This is fun to sprinkle in Project Life pockets, Daily December albums and I love to use it in confetti pockets for cards and gift packaging.
 Silver and Gold Kit #2
This kit features more gold and silver accents including gold shimmer tags and tags stitched with gold metallic thread.
 Old Time Christmas Kit
This kit reminds me of items you'd find at Grandma's house.  There's vintage paper doilies, a vintage jar topper, old lace and ric rac, clothespins, a polka dot ornament, game piece, sprigs, twine, tinsel, tags, metallic star stickers and more.
 Home for the Holidays Kit
A pretty kit featuring brown, red and cream.  New items a fluffy snow mixture are
paired with vintage items like stamps, postcards, vintage button card, lace and more.
Set of 2 Milk Glass
I found a few pieces of pretty milk glass, perfect for storing your holiday stash.  So pretty with to hold your sequin mixes and little holiday baubles.
Look for these new items to show up in the shop soon.  I'll come back and update this post, my Facebook Page and Twitter when I know a definite time.  It will not be tonight as I have a family birthday party to head to here soon.  Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the weekend!

Project Life 2013.....Week 36

Today I'm sharing Week 36 of my Project Life 2013.  It was about the first week of September for the week of this spread.
I had 2 inserts this week.
Here's the 2 page spread.  Most of my products this week came from the Gossamer Blue October kits.
 Here's the left page.
 The right page.
Here is the main, dated 4 x 6 insert.  I used a paper sack from the kit as a background pattern then used an Elle' Studio circle tag as the focal point.  I loved trying out some watercolor this week on a few inserts.
Here I paired a small photo with an Elle's Studio tag that I typed on with my typewriter.  I then stamped on it with the stamp from
A few slots dedicated to some photos of Josey....and her new friend. The fabric paperclip is from my Pretty Paint & Paperclip Kit.
The first home football game of the season.  We looked forward to these Friday night lights.
Sometimes I like to print out fun photos I see on Pinterest or Facebook, like the camper & cute quote.  On the right I used watercolors paired with the October Life Pages stamp set from Gossamer Blue.
I got the inspiration for the purple & blue-ish watercolor from the outfits the girls were wearing in the photos below.  I also used some of my Pan Pastels to deepen the purple and the blue watercolor.  So easy to use the pastels instead of adding more layers of watercolor...which can cause warping.
It's kind of rare that I have anything that goes with purple so it was fun to highlight this color this week.  I used a Dainty Doily for the background then layered on Elle's Studio tags, tied wood veneer buttons and the fun sticker word.
The backside of the above insert which has photos from my nieces wedding.  The girls were candle lighters and looked so pretty in their dresses that day.
Loved adding these dark colored wood veneers from the GB kits for this love themed page.
I've also enjoyed adding large photos to my Project Life album this year.  I'm finding that I like the photos to be the focus so I don't feel the need to embellish them much, if at all.  I simply added this photo to a piece of patterned paper then added a word sticker to the bottom.  I love this part about Project Life scrapbooking.....no pressure to scrapbook full pages, just drop the photos in if that's all you feel like doing
Thanks for stopping by today.  I'll be back soon with more Project Life weeks and starting in November I'll have some posts dedicated to my December Memories project from Gossamer Blue. The kits are now sold out but if you'd like to purchase the class, some Gossamer Blue December Memories Journaling Cards or perhaps piece together your own December Daily type album, there's lots of good stuff at this link. I also have some fun shop items that will coordinate really well with the GB December Memories kit. You can see a peek of many of the items in this post.  I must say that the Gold Shimmer Envelopes and Gold Foil Doilies look fabulous when paired with the gold foil accents in the Gossamer Blue December Memories Kit.  Look for new items to be in the shop soon, including a second round of my Woodland Sequin Mix, a new Blizzard Sequin Mix, my Jolly Jingle Bells, some more of the vintage embellishment kits + a few more items.  See ya soon.  :)

NoeL NoTioNs in action + shop update info.....

Edit:  Tinsel Town Kits now in the shop.

Hey there and good morning friends.  On Friday I had my annual Noel Notions holiday shop update and it's been a whirl wind ever since.  Thank you so much for your orders!!  Today I'd like to give you some shop update information and show you a few of my Noel Notions in action.

First up, a bit of information on shipping times.  My plan was to start packaging over the weekend and have my first shipments go out first thing tomorrow.  My timing is going to be a little delayed due to a family emergency.  My nephew got hit really hard in the football game on Friday night and was taken to the hospital for what we thought was a concussion.  It turned out after some weird vital signs, severe vomiting and scans that he had bleeding in his brain.  He was rushed to a larger hospital for further scans, tests and treatment.  Our entire family was up all night Friday and high alert on Saturday while at the girls' volleyball tournament. It was a horrible time just waiting for any news. The bleeding stopped on it's own though and he's going to be fine.  No physical activity for 6-8 weeks which includes bow hunting.  Mitchell is just devastated and crushed right now. I am so thankful for all of your prayers and that Mitchell is going to be okay.  My girls are going to be cousin Mitchell's chauffeur for the week and we're keeping on eye on that restless boy.  So with all that......I will begin packaging today and will still start my shipping tomorrow.

One more note.....my tiny post office is in a transition stage of dropping down to a half day post office and we've had 3 new post masters in a matter of months.  I was so spoiled that I used to be able to drop off loads of packages, have my friend/post master add them up and let me know the amount...then I'd come back later and pay.  Needless to say, our current post master is a few one cent stamps short of a full booklet so I have to watch each and every package be hand stamped now.  This is also delaying me getting large amounts of packages sent in one day.  I have to spread out large shipments so I'm not standing there for 2 hours at a time.  So I appreciate your patience & please know that I'm working very hard to get your packages sent out in a timely manner.

On to more fun stuff.  The answer is YES!  I will be mixing up a new batch of the Woodland Sequin Mix and new Blizzard Sequin Mix and will have them in the shop as soon as I can.  Be sure to check my Facebook Page (link on the left<<<), my Twitter updates and here on the blog for updates.  I won't be taking pre-orders or reserving any of my Noel Notions but I'll be sure to give advance notice of shop updates.
Okay, careful with this photo, you might hurt your eyes.  You've all snatched up the vintage bundles as soon as they're listed.  I've really had fun digging into my vintage stash and I'll be adding more vintage kits to the shop as I get them prepared.  Coming up TODAY are my Tinsel Town kits.  Bright and fun and perfect for packaging up one of a kind gifts this year.  I've been hoarding those vintage raspberry beads for a long, long time but it's time to share the love!  Look for these in the shop shortly.
Now, how about a few sneak peeks of my Noel Notions in action.  I've got my holiday embellishments all organized and it's going to be so fun to add them to cards & such.  But first let's get through Halloween and Thanksgiving, right?!
I'm loving all the gold glitz for the holidays + the fun sequin mixes.  My craft department is going to be one big glittery, fluffy wonderland this year.
I have my December Memories album from Gossamer Blue all assembled and today Lori will have more information on the class and how you can see all of the albums.  Be sure to check the Gossamer Blue blog today for that update.  I added some of my Noel Notions to my album so here are a few peeks.

First up, that awesome Woodland Sequin Mix paired with a transparency.  It's so pretty, guys.
Here's the Holiday Sequin Mix paired with a Gold Foil Doily.
A Gold Shimmer Envelope tucked in between some pages.  I plan to add some extra photos or receipts into this envelope.
More of the Woodland Sequin Mix.  I love it paired with trees, woodgrain papers and anything woodsy.
Here I used a Holiday Clip that was stamped with a sentiment from the December Memories Kit from Gossamer Blue.  I sized the ledger paper so that several of the images from the stamp set would fit perfectly.
I can't tell you how awesome chalkboard products look with some Fluffy Snow.  Well, I guess I just did.  :) Love, love, love it.
More Woodland Sequin Mix.  It looks so good when paired with all the gold accents from the December Memories kit....well actually with any gold accents.
Another transparency/pocket filled with Fluffy Snow.  Just a tiny bit makes anything look frosty and festive.
The Gold Foil Doilies are making a few appearances.  You can trim them in half to fit in a smaller pocket or use them front and center...or just a little snippet behind a photo, etc.  Love them. I can't wait to start on my holiday cards & use them there too.
Here I paired the Blue Frost Sequin Mix with some gold foil.  It looks great together.  Kind of retro and modern at the same time.  This mix is sold out but I have a beautiful Blizzard Mix coming to the shop soon.
More of the Holiday Sequin Mix.
Okie doke, hope you enjoy the peeks and that you have so much fun this crafty holiday season.  Check back for shop updates soon, I have brand new items coming soon.  :)  I'm off to make Halloween cards.....and package up Noel Notions.  I guess it was kind of fitting that it snowed last week....in October.  Have a great week everyone.

Noel Notions shop update today....

Noel Notions are going into my shop today!  See my last post for the new items that will be appear. I'll be turning the shop off for a while so that I can update the new items.  Everything will be available at one time when I open the shop back up.  Look for the shop update at 3:00 pm Central Time.

Note:  I am saving back a few of each item for International customers.  Just email me what you'd like (any items from the shop, just please be specific with the item names), your PayPal email address, country and name. I'll let you know if the items are still available and will then send you a PayPal invoice with the total cost, including shipping.  I'll use the least expensive way to ship your items.  My email is: stamplady@satelephone.com

Note:  Some items are in very limited quantities, especially any of the vintage kits.  Once they're gone, they're gone. However I am working on some more of these (all one of a kind) to add to the shop a little later on.

Note:  If you get to the checkout section and the shipping seems high, just go ahead and check out and send me a note to check your actual shipping costs at the post office.  I'm happy to refund your PayPal account for excessive overages.  It's so hard these days to estimate shipping costs, especially when you have lots of items on your order.

Note:  Forget to add something to your order?  Go ahead and place another order and I'll combine the shipping & refund the overage amount back to your PayPal account.

Note:  Did something sell out that you wanted?  Shoot me an email and I can see what I can do to add more to the shop this crafty season.

Note:  Shipping will start on Tuesday of next week.  I have a busy weekend and Monday full of volleyball and family events and will start packaging on Monday.

Note: Enjoy my goodies and happy crafting to you this holiday season!!

2013 Noel Notions

For the past few years I've added Noel Notions to my online shop.  These are fun, holiday themed items that are perfect to add to holiday cards, gift packaging, tags, Project Life pages, December Daily albums, mini albums and regular scrapbook pages.  This year I have a fun assortment that I'd like to preview here on the blog today.  I've got a few more surprises that will coming also and will share those when I'm finished with them.  My shop update will be very soon and I'll announce that here on the blog as well as on my Facebook page and Twitter.

I thought these green flash cards would be fun this holiday season.  I'll be using a few as dividers for my December Memories handbook that I'll be taking on this year with Gossamer Blue.  Punch a few holes and they make perfect dividers.
Holiday Clips will be fun to add to my Project Life and December Memories inserts this season.  Just clip them over an insert or a photo and you're good to go.  The blank ledger clips are just the right size to stamp some images from the Gossamer Blue December Memories Kit.  Gold embossing would loo fabulous too. I'll be showing samples of this as my album progresses this year.  The fabric clips have gold metallic stitching.
The Holiday Envelope Assortment has an array of sizes and shapes and colors of envelopes that will be perfect for adding to December Daily albums, Project Life pages, cards and more.  I like to use the larger envelopes as inserts for mini albums.  Just punch holes and tuck them in between pages.  They're great for holding extra photos, receipts, little lists and hidden journaling.
Red & White Baker's Twine is always a must have for my holiday crafting.  It dresses up buttons and make each and every card or package extra special. This will be bundled in 5 yard increments.
Candy Cane Clothespins were a good seller last year so they're making a come back this year.  I hand drew the red lines and added some very sparkly glitter to each clip.  Perfect for cards, little packages, keeping lists organized and I love to use them to keep my Project Life and December Daily supplies organized.
This season is all about gold accents.  I see gold everywhere and I'm so happy to see it making a come back.  These Gold Clothespins are a favorite of mine this season.  Each clothespin has gold painted on the top and gold glitter on the bottom.  So spectacular and gorgeous looking in person.  I'll be using these for packaging up my cards as gifts sacks and so much more.
Gold Shimmer Envelopes will be so lovely for those special cards or switch it up and add them to your December Daily albums.  So shimmery in person.
Gold Foil Doilies take me right back to my childhood.  They remind me so much of the gold foil accents that were on everything from ornaments to cards to gift tags.  These are very pliable and definitely say "gold".  I'll be using these to wrap around gift sacks and holiday boxes tied with twine.  I'll be slipping a few into my December Memories album pages too and they'll be on my cards also this season.  These will come in a set of 10.
I've got three different confetti assortments this season.  This Blue Frost Confetti reminds me of those chilly mornings when the tall grasses are covered in frost.  There's blue, white and gray sequins with snow fluff and stars added in for a nice, fluffy mix.
The Holiday Confetti mix has traditional holiday colors with white and gold added in.  Gold stars are mixed in for extra sparkle.
Another favorite of mine this year is this Woodland Confetti which features wood grain sequins along with beige and cream sequins + gold accents, snow fluff, reindeer sequins and wood veneer pieces.  Definitely a must if you love the wood grain look and all things outdoorsy. I'll be using this in a clear insert all by it self in my holiday album.
Fluffy snow is always great for adding to stamped snow drifts, tags, confetti bags and more.  It's shimmery and fluffy and oh so pretty.
I've been de-stashing some of my vintage items and this year I'll be selling Holiday Vintage Bundles along with my Noel Notions.  I'll have several themes with one of a kind vintage items mixed in with some newer crafty items.  No two kits will be alike.  These will be chock full of holiday goodies to add to packaging, tags, cards and more.  These will be in very limited quantities so act quickly if you like these.  Such a happy little photo below, don't you think?
The Vintage Bundles will be packaged up with pretty ribbon and baker's twine.  Perfect for a gift for a crafty friend or to take to a card crop.  Or dump the contents into a pretty basket or bread pan and use at your gift wrapping station this holiday season.
My Noel Notions always get me excited for the holiday season.  I've saved back a few of each item so I'll be sure to share when I use them on holiday projects.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're preparing for a wonderful season of holiday crafting.  :)
